Cancel Stress To Confirm Progress

“I conserve my inner strength and energise my mind to overpower pressure and perform better.” – Cancel stress.

No matter how well we plan and distribute our work load. We feel that our pressure button gets frequently pressed, either in personal or professional life.

  1. Unless we manage pressure, we can neither remain calm nor do our best. Do you feel that pressures in you life like targets, deadlines, exams, goals, health issues and relationship challenges are increasing? To face the pressure you need to increase the inner strength or stability of your mind.
  2. In science Stress = Pressure/Resilience. Resilience which is our inner strength. Inner strength refers to your qualities like calmness, patience, acceptance, peace, happiness, wisdom. When we ignore the denominator of inner strength, we believe Stress = Pressure.
  3. Stress affects efficiency, memory and decision making ability. So increase the denominator, your inner strength to cope with pressures.
  4. The first step is to take personal responsibility for your state of mind, so that your every thought is right and powerful. Meditate and study spiritual knowledge daily to create right thoughts in every situation. After every hour check and clean your thoughts. You will then remain light, focus better, take right decisions and perform to your potential.

Cancel stress – The Story

One could see that the executive was close to a breakdown. He was being harassed by his office people at all hours as the deadline approached. He was constantly on the phone trying to fend off head office threats. It was just waiting to be a disaster for him.

He was an operations executive who monitored security operations for his company. There had been a breach a few weeks back. He was asked to look at the cause and effects. The company had to put out a press note for its shareholder happiness. And they were forcing him to put out a report that said everything was fine. He knew it wasn’t. But they wanted him to take the fall.

It was getting to him. The calls, the hours and the threat of a Damocles sword.

He collapsed. He was taken to a hospital by his family. His father was worried and thought his son needed to get out of this immediately. He made him apply for a long leave on the basis of his medical condition.

Get your inner strength back.

Inner strength comes from meditation and the study of scriptures. The executive was encouraged to do that by the family. The stability of the mind was achieved painstakingly.

Inner strength has components that come alive.

Inner strength has these quality components – calmness, patience, acceptance, peace, happiness and wisdom. These are basic bricks to bring in the strength required to deal with outside forces. Build the bricks.

Make your thoughts pure and powerful.

The executive was encouraged to use his inner strength to increase his efficiency, memory and decision-making ability through simple chores around the house and the agricultural fields. The father ensured that his personal responsibility towards his state of mind was empowered.

He was told to remain light and always focus better. He had to remind himself that right decisions enabled him and he could perform to a new potential without intervention from others. His decisions made him hungrier by the day for more responsibilities. He welcomed them instead of shirking from them. It was a pleasure to do more tasks and reward himself for getting through them ably.

The executive recovered. The organisation took him back as someone remembered that he had been through a lot of trauma because of something that was not his doing. He’s a much more self-confident person now!
